Outdoor spaces designed to work as well as they look.

Commercial landscape design should do more than make a property look polished. It should support the way the site functions, reflect the character of the business, and create a strong first impression for the people who use it every day.

At Miller Creek, we design outdoor spaces for commercial properties with a focus on appearance, usability, and long-term performance. We look at how the property is used, how people move through it, and how landscape elements can support both the practical needs of the site and the overall experience of the space.

From entry sequences and gathering areas to plantings, hardscapes, and site features, our team works to create commercial landscapes that feel professional, well planned, and aligned with the property as a whole.

A well-designed commercial landscape also supports long-term property value. When the plan accounts for how the site will be maintained, how it will look across seasons, and how it serves the people who use it daily, the results hold up better over time. At Miller Creek, design is not a preliminary step. It is the foundation that informs every part of the build and maintenance work that follows.

Design with purpose at every level.

A well-designed commercial landscape does more than create curb appeal. It guides how people move through the site, reduces long-term maintenance demands, and sends a clear signal about the standards of the organization behind it. Those things don’t happen by accident.

At Miller Creek, commercial design starts with understanding how the property actually functions, who uses it, how they arrive, what the site needs to communicate. Whether it’s a hotel entry, a medical campus, a retail center, or an HOA common area, the plan is built around how that specific property needs to perform.

How the Design Process Works

Most commercial design projects start with an in-person consultation. We walk the site with you, discuss how the space needs to function, and confirm details like dimensions, timelines, and budget. From there, our design team develops a plan built around the specific needs and constraints of your property.

Depending on the scope of the project, we can provide 2D CAD drawings or 3D renderings to help you visualize the finished result — useful for internal review, stakeholder presentations, or contractor coordination. Every project includes two free rounds of revisions so the plan reflects your priorities before construction begins.

Testimonial

Miller Creek did an excellent job from design to finished product. Troy and his crew were very professional and hard working. Any time there was an issue we worked together to solve the problem. We are very pleased with the final result.
